The grill grate was rusted through. It had a big hole in the middle of the grate limiting the amount of burgers.

The site was very clean and very long so our rig fit with no problem. The campground was close to town that was a big plus. The staff was very nice and very help full with local attraction.

Came to look over the area. Our son and his family are moving to Waco in July. The campground was perfect. Reasonably priced and easy to get to. Clean area, clean restrooms. Our site had water, electricity and sewer, not sure they all do.
Again, a great place to spend a few days. The only down side is our A/C quit, but that didn't have anything to do with the campground.

From I-35, take the exit for Hwy 6 N toward Meridian (330B) for about 5 miles. Immediately before crossing the lake, exit right at Midway Park Exit. At the exit, drive under the bridge and the park is a quarter-mile down the east-bound service road.
