The park is small but a nice view of the lake. fifty yards before the gate is a road to the right that goes to another RV park. Do not take it. When you approach the gate entrance do not go to the right. Go straight or slight left. Roads have many pumps. The park does not have sewer. But beware that if you tote your waste to the dump station the drain pipe is 2 feet off the ground. For a trailer dump there is a 4 foot open space between the dump pipe and your trainer pipe. The nice looking metal cover over the dump area is very slippery when wet by a hose. A law suit ready to happen. The park office people are very nice. Many deer on site.

Beautiful park with friendly staff. Shower/restroom area clean. Nice and convenient location to many things we wanted to do. So many deer roaming around added to natural beauty.

Great people and relaxing park! I stayed in campsites 1, 17, and 18. Make sure to stay in 1-4 to experience the water. I liked 18 too for the deer that walk through. I love Speegleville Park and could stay there for a month if they would let me!

Love the campground, but when we used the dump station, the pipe was so high, it was a real struggle to empty the tanks.

Arrived later than planned, but check in was fine. One night only so no sights other than all the deer roaming the park.

This park was so nice. Very peaceful along Lake Waco, about 12 minutes from downtown attractions made this stop the best. My only complaint is that the grass was knee high and we had a pull through but couldn't pull through when we left because the tree limbs have not been trimmed. It would have scratched the hell out of my RV so we had to back out when leaving. Site 22

the staff was very courteous and friendly. my only real complaint is that the grounds could use a regularly schedule up keep. the grass was tall and in desperate need of a cut, this created a higher than normal amount of pesky insects to deal with
