The park is beautiful but had not been mowed. People had brought their own mowers to mow their sites. Also, there is a problem with the dump station. The dump inlets where you are to put the hose from a trailer are too high which make it hard to dump. A fellow camper pulled up, didn’t attach a hose and just opened his black tank valve letting it spill onto the pavement and then had a water hose rinsing it down the drain. He told someone at the dump station that was how it was done there. I find that hard to believe since what he did contaminated ground people walk on with sewage.

This is a beautiful park with lots of space for RV's and covered tables at each site which is really nice. We loved the lake views and the trees. It was such a relaxing setting. Be aware that the gates to get in close at 10:00 p.m. (you can park a car outside of the gate to walk in to your RV site if needed). We didn't realize there weren't sewer hookups at our site but we used the main dumping station before we left. We will definitely return!

It had rain, and it was like a little lake. At this number 13 site could not park my RV here because I didn’t want to step in a lake of water. They would not give me a refund even though I didn’t stay.

The site was good I would have given higher marks if it had sewer covers over picnic table and if the road that goes by #1 was not two way traffic it was a constant flow of cars and trucks zooming by this spot and do not camp here if you have small children that might want to ride a bike or scooter it is dangerous

I normally don't camp on weekends, but on Saturday night of my last visit there was load music being played well after dark by drunk guys. No more weekends for me.

Views were nice and we saw lots of deer. Lake water is way down, but we expected that. Grounds around our site were mowed and very clean. Showers could use some upkeep. We enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! Park was clean and sites were large and easy to get into with our 42 ft Fifth wheel.
We did not fish or use lake but it was beautiful to look at.
Probably the only warning I’d have is that we didn’t keep our puppy on the pavement when walking so she got a TON of stickers (our bad)! Fox tails were still green but will be really bad soon.
Camp was close to Waco and we had a great time visiting the surrounding area.
Will stay again!
