Speegelville is a nice park. Our site was pretty level but there was a large spot between the rear wheels of our Motorhome the was heaved up pretty bad, site 2. There is lots of space in the site but the shower house needs attention., it was dirty and uninviting. a good power washing inside would go a long way to getting rid of the spider webs and dead bugs, and would likely help with the smell.

This is a great site, close to the water and beautiful view. The previous campers had left rib bones, confetti egg shells and confetti around the site but that was not any fault of the park. The park hosts are friendly and drove by several times during our trip. We really enjoy coming to this park.

Very nice park but don’t arrive before your actual arrival time at this park because they make you wait outside where many vehicles are parked every which way and it doesn’t matter and it creates a big line just entering. We have only had this happen at one other COE park and we’ve been to 50 plus parks. It’s nice if you can get in when the site you booked has been vacant for hours as to not run into this problem it creates. Sometimes we just don’t know how long it will take to get to our campsite and we leave a bit early and this backup happens. Too bad it has to be this way.
It’s a really clean beautiful park.

It was a great park to stay at if your are visiting the Waco area. Very spacious sites with plenty of spots for big rigs. All sites were paved with a shelter over the picnic table. Bathroom and shower house got the job done. We would definitely stay here again.
