Camp spot was very good as always. But they are doing some needed road repairs and had the road graded to dirt. It rained and that evening and next morning, I had a hard time driving and making it in and out the very deep mud. Just unfortunate timing, but don’t known I will ever get this truck clean.

was there in Jan. 2023. the entrance was under construction which caused a long and confusing detour. the park itself was nice, on a lake, and sites well spaced. it is on the airport approach for Waco so a fairly continuous stream of air traffic. the restrooms were in pretty rough shape

Great little park. We had a beautiful campsite (#23), and fine weather. The only downsides were the terrible road coming into the park, and the fact that the lake is so very low. Still we enjoyed our stay very much. I'll award 4 stars out of 5, and you get the 5th when you fix that darn road!

Great park. Many spots are very long 60+ feeet which makes it wasy for lengthy rigs. Sites are spotless, even the gravel is raked! Only downside is that the entry road is being repaved and the alternate route in is pretty rough. Take it slow....

Great park. Sites are spotless when you arrive. Even the gravel is groomed. Currently the main road is being rebuilt and the backup roads are not in very good condition. Take it slow and watch the clearance as you go through some of the gates.

A nice park. Sites are well-spaced. Many sites are long enough for a long fifth wheel trailer with plenty of room for the tow vehicle. Downtown Waco is an easy drive.

The Army Corps of Engineers does a wonderful job with this park! Will definitely come back again!

Very spacious sites with beautiful scenery. We’ll make it a point to go back. The only drawback is that there are no full hookups. This is not enough to keep us from going back! (After the road gets fixed😊)
