Beautiful site and deer everywhere. Loud racing noise from across the lake at the boat ramp at night, smell of deer urine can be pretty strong when the wind blows just right.

we stayed at Speegleville because we were visiting Waco and this was a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The park is very clean and has a nice view of the lake. The camping sites are very level and nice covers over the picnic tables to shade the sun as needed . We would stay here again.

Our family had our annual Thanksgiving camping trip here for the first time. We made sweet memories with our children and grandchildren. We had a little trouble leveling our class c motor home but that wasn’t a problem. The dump station is poorly done because the holes are higher than the rv hoses.

The host are very friendly. Campsites are well spaced and clean. The road to get there was a little bumpy but I hear they’re fixing it

I’ve camped here a few times. Location, sites and wildlife are great. The gravel area at the site was perfectly raked out. The bathrooms…. Not so great. They are always dirty and in need of tlc. There’s always been toilet paper but that’s about it.

The sites are very large and the park is beautiful. We had plenty of water pressure and the electric was always between 118-121 volts. We had 10-15 deer visit our site each night. I only wish that people would cancel if they are not going to camp. We had trouble getting 2 nights in this park but there were several sites that were empty.
