I have been using this park for at least 12 years. It has come a long ways in the past 3 years. Roads have been repaired, new water connections, the trees have been trimmed. These Corp parks in this district were the worst I’ve seen across the US. Not sure what happened but they have replaced shower houses fixed roads and water.
Very nice improvement and it is appreciated.

Great people at the gate. We love our shaded #6 site.

Nice relaxing park with a great layout. All sites have a covered picnic table and benches. Most have at least one tree. They have power and water at all RV sites. The pads are easy to get into. But some are a little challenging due to tree overhang around the entrance. Reservations are easy to make online. Gate staff is always friendly. It is just a short walk down to the designated beach area. And if you have some sort of water craft that is just a very short drive to a launch site.

Sites were not mowed, lots of tall grass. Bath houses are in need of repair and unsafe for children.

Clean camp site and entire park. Attendant extremely helpful and personable. Would have liked the grass to be mowed shorter, but understand timing is a factor. Will definitely stay again.

Very nice campground, the staff was welcoming and very helpful. The site I chose was flooded, they gave me the opportunity to look at two other sites.
Nice quiet campground

We stayed for 3 nights here, very quiet place! Our site was clean and well kept, and bathrooms were good.

Bathrooms are clean but primeval. The cleaners ascribe to spraying everything down to clean so there’s water standing in low spots along the walls. I saw a very large (think tarantula) wolf spider on the power station at my site. There were puddles on both sides of the pad at my site.

Love this place! So tranquil and clean. Good restrooms. Most amazing sunsets over the lake. Level spots, electric hookups, and water for RV’s or tent camping. Super nice people at the gate. Always smiling and waving. I feel at home here. Definitely will be back.
