there was a black widow spider hanging out under the sink in the women's bathroom. That made me a little nervous. Also, there was no gray water sink at the bathroom for washing dishes and the water pressure in the bathroom and drinking fountains was minimal at best. That made tent camping with four small children slightly more inconvenient. We had camped in Moab and Capitol Reef earlier that year and their facilities were a little more user friendly. Our camp site also happened to be in a bit of a bad spot for the evening--the sun shone right down on us without any shade break for hours. It would be nice if there were a few more trees on the west side of our campground. But other than that it was a fabulous experience.

Amazing experience. Wish there was a swimming area to cool off. Loved the night sky and stars in the sky at night.

The campground is a small treed oasis in the desert. The beautiful green river flows right at the east edge and the many trails are both relaxing and strenuous. The areas are large enough for many larger RV or camper.

This was a fantastic campground for this family new to camping. Friendly families around so kids could play, and the camp host was so great. She had Junior Ranger Activity books at the ready! Tons of gnats and mosquitos, (as was expected) and some very pushy chipmunks kept us on our toes. I think if tent sites could be leveled or graded a bit more at most NPS campgrounds it would be very helpful. A great variety of spots and we reserved one closer to the river vs. under big trees. It would have been worth staying a second night to enjoy a leisurely day. We'd definitely go back regardless of whether we upgrade to a small camper or set up tents again.

We stayed here while visiting Dinosaur National Monument and the stay was fine. We had already travelled the country staying at national parks along the way, so this was very similar to our other experiences. No electricity and bathrooms were ok- not great. Nice views but hot without a lot of shade. Bring your bug spray.

This spot was beautiful. The view of Split Mountain was breathtaking and I loved that the campground was right on the Green River. There's not much shade when the sun is beating down on you in the middle of the day but suck it up and drink some water because this spot is worth being a bit warm. Otherwise, it was quiet and the facilities were well maintained. I would highly recommend.

Nice place except the mosquitoes are really bad, and the bathroom was pretty gross.
