We had a great time. The campsite pull through were the most unique we have ever seen. Curved driveways to get into the site, completely terrific. There is also water nearby which we did not expect for being a boondocking site. All in all it is a great campsite which we will visit again.

The camp hosts at this park are NOT friendly or helpful and act like Army sargents.
Showers are ONLY open from 10am to 8pm so not very convenient for campers but for the camp hosts,
Most sites are very far from the only shower house (you MUST DRIVE).
Sites have very little shade.
Would only stay here if no other campgrounds are available.
USFS needs to review the performance of the camp hosts here.

Notification sent that there was no water should have stated there was none anywhere not just at the site. Drove all the way up and filling station was closed so luckily the gas station let us fill up there. Showers from 10 to 8 is ridiculous. Most people aren’t done boating, fishing, etc until that time. Horribly inconvenient. And no fire wood after 8:30 seems early as well. Love the campground but the bathroom hours are a joke.

Park employees were bully-ish. Claimed alcohol wasn’t permitted and stated the park is for families only, people with kids. Horrible experience Didn’t stay, won’t go back and lost 200$ on that stay despite having multiple camp grounds for space, not getting the site we booked etc

Site 38 in August 2020:
Very nice site for our popup. A lot of sun but plenty of shade too. No view from our site of the reservoir, but nice nonetheless.

Campsite was gorgeous and so close to the water. So relaxing. The camp host on the other hand is a whole different story.
