What Guests Are Saying
Timpooneke campground is praised for its stunning views, clean facilities, and friendly hosts who take great pride in maintaining the site. Campers appreciate the spacious sites, especially those with yurts, and the opportunities for hiking and enjoying nature. The site said no water but it did have drinkable water which was awesome. The bathrooms were even clean for a campsite and didn’t stink!!

This place is paradise. Mike and Nola are excellent hosts. It was wonderful to see the river flowing so high compared to last year also.

The most beautiful campsite I’ve ever seen!! So private, lush and the stream in summer ‘23 was roaring. The campsite hosts are extremely friendly — they startled me when coming onto the site to check on me (not used to this from hosts!) and I didn’t hear them. Unfortunately, they got the city girl traveling alone w her dog reactions of shrieking from being startled and barking from being scared. Sorry to the very sweet hosts! They clearly take pride in their fantastic campground and stewardship. Will be back, for longer next time!

Never been glamping before, but it was nice to have the tent and clean, soft beds all ready to go when we arrived. The camp hosts were friendly and gave us tons of useful advice. Thanks.

The site was very clean as well as the restrooms. The camp host came to greet us promptly upon arrival and were very helpful and courteous. We had an enjoyable time and will go back again.

The campers next to us were playing charades and drunk laughing almost until 1130. The camp next to theirs got angry at them and then had a loudness competition as revenge. Wish the camp host drove around the camp at quiet time to make sure the rules were being followed. Other than that, campsite 26 was lovely and the drives around the canyon was amazing.
