What Guests Are Saying
Timpooneke campground is praised for its stunning views, clean facilities, and friendly hosts who take great pride in maintaining the site. Campers appreciate the spacious sites, especially those with yurts, and the opportunities for hiking and enjoying nature. However, some noise from nearby roads and vehicles can be disruptive during the night, which may affect the overall camping experience.

quiet, great scenery, fairly easy access. There should be dumpsters available for trash. Too expensive for a campsite with no hookups.

Everything was perfect!
My only request or thoughts are having guests who come to visit or stay overnight in the campsite with me shouldn’t have to pay $10 per vehicle. I think that’s ridiculous.
I pay for these campsites in the summer and stay there the whole time, but invite my children to come up when they can to stay overnight with me.) If I’ve paid for the campsite, and the vehicles fit in the driveway, it shouldn’t be a problem. They shouldn’t have to pay. $10 per day is a very exorbitant fee for something we’ve already paid for.

Good spot up high. At end of culdesac. No campers behind our bedside you for 100ft. Bathroom and water close.
2-3 spots for tents.

We just go up and chill...no hiking, just relaxing. It's always quiet and we love it.

Beautiful and quiet area, the hosts were friendly and wildlife walks right through the campground! Moose and mule deer regularly paid visits to the creek running alongside the campsite, the fire pit was useful for grilling steaks and burgers, and the yurt was incredibly comfortable. Well worth the money and one of the highlights of our cross-country trip from the Midwest to the Uintas.
