What Guests Are Saying
Timpooneke campground is praised for its stunning views, clean facilities, and friendly hosts who take great pride in maintaining the site. Campers appreciate the spacious sites, especially those with yurts, and the opportunities for hiking and enjoying nature. However, some noise from nearby roads and vehicles can be disruptive during the night, which may affect the overall camping experience.

Beautiful area with amazing views. The campground and facilities were very clean. The "glamping" tent was nice and clean and it allowed us more time to enjoy the hiking and not have to worry about set up and tear down. We literally dropped off our stuff and hit the mountain!! I will be back. This is now one of my favorite campsites! Thank you!!

Campsite nice, yurt really pretty great (not one to book usually). Otherwise, we had a pretty bad experience with very large group taking up the entire loop except the yurt sites. The noise was difficult round the clock, and because they booked the whole rest of the loop they treated our space like theirs. We left early. If I could be sure management wouldn’t let this happen, I would definitely recommend the site.

Perfect place in the mountains. Quiet spot, and it felt like we were the only campers there.

Site 25 was perfect for our family. It's tucked away from other sites, offering some nice privacy, while still being close (but not two close ;) to the toilets. There were two good locations for a tent, both offering near-continuous shade for the whole day. We hiked along the Timpanogos trail for a time and enjoyed the mountain environment. Our children had a blast playing down by the creak at the south end of the campground loop (near site 29). A brief distance down the hiking trail there (#180?) the creak splits into multiple paths creating various small islands to explore.

The campground is well maintained and very beautiful. We took up our motor home and a side by side and had a great time riding the trails and seeing the beautiful scenery. The only complaint is being charged a $10 fee each night for the side by side to be parked in the campsite. I think for the cost of the campsite that would be included or at least be covered by the canyon pass fee. Just seems like a little bit of a racket.

The campground was clean and as described. It was also private so my son and I could enjoy our time. The area is gorgeous and full of trees and vegetation. Would absolutely stay here again
