Way too close together we were basically camping with strangers. They could see every single thing we were doing or talking about. awful.

What's good: It's close to Salt Lake; if you're traveling east to west, it's one of the last places to camp before heading to California across Nevada; the bathrooms don't smell.
What I didn't like: Very crowded - campsites are close to both camp road and the highway, so also noisy; Not clean.

Had a great trip to Spruces! It is a beautiful campground that is well kept, very shady, and has plenty of space to explore and play outside. Our kids loved it and it was a great break from the day to day bustle. Good cell service and not too far from the city and civilization if anything is forgotten or needed. Beautiful hiking areas all around. We will be back!

Could not use the reservation as the trees were too low to park our 5th wheel in the spot

the site was well maintained and pleasant, but we had some unruly neighbors who were going srtong late and then woke us up around 3:30. That was unfortunate.

Spruces is our go to campsite. Some suggestions from our last visit. Our site was 57. Our fire pit was full of charred wood that needed to be cleaned out. It would have ben nice to have a waste basket in the rest room. Thanks!

The only spot for a tent was far away from the picnic table. Ant hills all around the picnic table and fire pit area.
