About Hawk Creek Campground

Hawk Creek Campground is tucked back from the lake on Hawk Creek. The campground is popular, but small enough to feel private and secluded. A small waterfall adds ambiance to this beautiful and unique campground. Hawk Creek is close to Fort Spokane Visitor Center, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. A courtesy dock provides access to Lake Roosevelt.

Very loud people partying next to us until 2 in the morning. Only 2 rangers on duty for the 4th of July weekend. They would come and talk to the people then after rangers left party would start up again. Too many people allowed per site. Just not the kind of atmosphere we wanted.

Beautiful camp site! The sites are good size and it’s small so not too loud. Bathrooms are not maintained well but if you get past that it’s beautiful. We’ll definitely be going again

Always a nice experience. I camped alone on this trip and even though the campground filled up, it was nice and quiet.

Nice quiet campground right next to the water. The back-in RV spaces are a bit difficult to access because of the angle from the main road, but the view of the lake makes up for it.

We looked at the website and it showed water surrounding a dock. We took the boat thinking we had a place to put it. The dock was high and dry. A fellow camper said they had been coming there for years and had never seen water around the dock. Not many long campsites. The one we picked just fit the truck camper. The waterfall was beautiful. The wildlife abundant. Lots of fishermen.
