What Guests Are Saying
Mora Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites nestled in a lush coastal forest, offering privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Its proximity to Rialto Beach and various hiking trails enhances the camping experience, making it an ideal base for exploring Olympic National Park. While some facilities, particularly bathrooms, could use more attention, and there are no showers available, the overall charm and natural beauty of the campground make it a favorite for many campers.

Tent site D 61. Beautiful spot with gorgeous trees all around. Quiet place, lots of birds singing and , pretty sure, an eagle nest with a hungry chick.
Clean women bathroom, as always in any campground: NEED MORE SHELVES and/or HOOKS!
No access to river. Quick drive to beaches and the general store. Love the ability to reserve a spot now, was able to grab a spot just a week before the trip (someone cancelled?). First come first serve was hard to plan around before.

My 2nd favorite site next to Kalaloch. Proximity to Rialto beach is awesome! One of my favorite little hikes we did on the trip. Site isn't especially cold at night (June) which was great. You're still in a temperate rainforest region so plan for light rain. The main thing I remember about this site is it was very hard to get a fire to keep going because of how wet it was. The site had awesome huge trees that looked like they were on stilts- an amazing and memorable feature of the park. Like all the Olympic campgrounds, don't count on the presence of soap or paper towels in the bathroom. There's no real check in at any of them either which was different for us compared to campgrounds we've stayed in in other parts of the country.

We were at Mora for 4 days. It did not appear that the whole time we were there that the bathrooms were cleaned. There was not soap for washing hands, and we ended up using our own toilet paper because the women's and men's stalls did not have any. This was disappointing. The campsite was great, and we truly enjoyed the Olympic National Park.

Beautiful campground with good sized spaces and decent privacy. Nice bathrooms and drinking water access. Reservation process was simple and the sites were ready and waiting when we pulled in. Excellent base for exploring Olympic. Can't wait to return.

I love staying here! The campground is quiet and clean. This time I noticed both bathrooms were running low on soap but otherwise clean, there are a lot of people using them so it seems like more supplies need to be purchased.

I hate to rate this poorly, as the location was great, the bathrooms were clean, etc.
However, there was a site that was super loud until maybe 2 AM, with music and all.
Then the site right next to us had men who got up before 6, and talked loudly and CRUDELY. It woke up my 10 year old as well, and thankfully what they were saying was going over my sons head so he didn’t know what they were saying exactly (lots of innuendoes). At any rate it was so loud, and it disgusted me.
I didn’t get much sleep at all.
