The campground host was so kind and helpful. The sites and restrooms are very well kept and the grounds are absolutely beautiful!

Such a lovely, wooded location inside the park. Only a 20 minute drive from paradise!

It was a great campground with a great location near paradise. Really enjoyed camping next to a volcano and all the amenities that the campground offered. I would defiantly camp here again if I’m ever in the area.

Pros: with reservations you won’t need to pay to get into the park. It’s in a very good location close to popular trails. The bathrooms are clean.
Cons: you’ll have a hard time finding a site that can accommodate an 8 person tent. Most are suitable for 2-4 person tents.

The camp gerund is pretty well-maintained with clean flush toilets, potable water fountain, convenient flushable waste disposal sink (for washing dishes). It’s close to paradise and the visitor center and a few nice falls. The only thing is their wood is very expensive at 15 per bundle and cash only after 4pm when the ranger gets offduty.
The campsite itself is a bit small, so the limitation on tent and car size actually make sense. Pretty nice overall.

Great site in this loop. Lots of space (we have a 28' MH and a CRV toad) on this pull through. Excellent Starlink. Only complaint is the dump station is out of order and there is nowhere to dump within 30 miles according to the ranger. We strictly rationed the waste water generation and got through 5 days. The bathhouse does have disposal sinks that you can cart a few gallons of gray over to.

The campsite itself was not great. Trees were cut down, there was a rotted stump in the middle of the campground and it was a tough place to be when it rained for two days straight. Other than that, I always enjoy the hard work the workers provide and they are always professional, but this campsite was awful.
