Perfect campground with beautiful views. It was great being so close to the Paradise area. Very close to the Longmire area as well with a gift shop and restaurant.

Kimberly at the Ranger station was very accommodating in getting us a FF site that was lovely and perfect for our 21’ trailer. Several hikes right out of the campground. Bathrooms and garbage bins close by and the sites were far enough apart to not be able to hear your neighbor’s conversations. Our site had both sun and shade and was very level.

Liked having the rangers at the entry. Night time talk on mosses and lichen was fun.

Really loved this campground. Beautiful in all the trees. Sites are pretty close to one another but not too close, and there are so many trees the views to other sites were obstructed so it didn’t feel exposed. Tons of shade. Plenty of room for tents at our site D32. The main tent spot was a bit downhill so in heavy rain we would have set up the tent closer to the picnic table and car, on higher ground. Bathrooms not too far, no soap. Fire ban when we were there in July. 20min to Paradise Visitors Center and the many hikes in that area (unless there are construction delays). No bear locker at any specific sites from what I could tell, the signs say to just leave food locked in the car. We did that with no issues, but there did seem to be maybe one big bear locker in each loop as an alternative.
