The Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort Campground offers a great location near beautiful hiking trails and the hot springs, making it an ideal base for outdoor adventures. Many reviewers praised the cleanliness of the facilities, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere, especially during less crowded seasons. While I am grateful that I read reviews to be prepared for the limited parking available to site A022 - I did not expect to show up to my campsite hours before quiet hours… to discover that the neighbors in A021 decided to have not just their camper in the one spot available to A021… but also A022 spot as well, since the parking in those two spots alone it seems, are shared. However, our neighbors seemed to be hoping that others weren’t showing as well - their friends in A023 had to be kicked out prior to quiet hours by the rightful renter and their RV. The language barrier netted a very very angry foreigner and a very very firm native pacific northwesterner (me) - but it was quite the rough start and our neighbors the next night also unclear but much kinder and happy to allow us to park in our space. A022 is by far the smallest of the spaces and perhaps has a larger size tent a bit too close to the fire pit but is a perfect spot for a 4 man tent or those looking to pop up a tent on top of their SUV. Be warned, A021 and A022 seem to be the only spots in the park that the actual parking space is shared and can cause a BUNCH of confusion and hard feelings when people think the whole thing is theirs and it’s not.

The RV campground was a disappointment. It was more like a gravel parking lot and there were no washroom facilities whatsoever. At the campground itself.

RV loop is terrible. There is no restrooms. Closest 5 minutes walk to the next loop. Each site should be gravel but it has a mud instead. You basically pay for parking with hook up and nothing else.

A pleasant campground with clean facilities, but the individual campsites are quite close together (unlike other parks in the US).

Even though heavy rain, camp site was large, and open. Beautiful location

The campground loop has water and electricity for smaller RVs. It was within walking distance to the hot springs. The trail for Sol Duc falls was on the edge of the campground which is nice. It was quiet both nights we used the campground. There were deer in the campground in the morning.

Clean campsites, quiet area, clean bathrooms, close to very nice hotsprings. Our site was slightly smaller than I am used to (loop A 34) but still (barely) fit our SUV and pop up trailer. Overall great stay and we felt lucky to get a spot there!
