Love spending time at the lake boating and camping, best two weeks this summer .
Check in was easy and the girls was very nice, bath houses are kept very clean …can’t wait until my next time !
Like how the park patrol monitored the park
And the sheriff made rounds made me feel
safe

We love camping at battle run. However, the bathhouses could use a remodel. Otherwise, Battle Run is a great family campground. The kids love swimming in the lake, riding their bikes, and playing at the park. The police and park rangers do a great job of patrolling the park, as well.

We stayed in tent site #7 and there was no one in the middle sites all three nights we were there so we had a lot of privacy. If there were people there however, they would have been pretty close. We could walk down the hill in the back of the site to access the water but it was very steep. It was strange and inconvenient that there was no dish sink or drinking water access (besides a water fountain) at the bathroom closest to the tent sites. The site was nicely shaded, but very rocky and not level. Sites #2-6 had more level ground.

We love Battle Run, it was perfect for having our grandchildren with us. We feel safe to let the kids roam.
