What Guests Are Saying
Dimond O Campground offers a pleasant stay with well-maintained sites, friendly hosts, and clean bathrooms. Visitors appreciate the beautiful surroundings, privacy between campsites, and proximity to Yosemite National Park. However, some drawbacks include limited water availability, noise from the camp host's generator, and the rustic facilities.

Great campground. The campground owners' generator was a bit loud at night/in the morning, but we were far enough away that it wasn't too big of a problem - would hate to be in the sites right next to them though!
Wish there was a place to wash dishes, but I get that it's sort of a "semi-backcountry" experience so they only have water spigots and you have to wash your own dishes elsewhere.
Visit Hetch Hetchy while you're there, even if you just drive up and walk the dam, it's worth checking out! The campground is so close to it, would be a shame if you missed it.

Great location for visiting Yosemite including the Valley, Tioga Road, and Hetch-Hetchy. Nice, small campground with some spacious sites. Most campers were quiet and respectful of fellow campers. Only about 1/2 full during our entire stay. No cell service but hey, you're camping!

very clean and dog friendly, my only complaint would be the camp hosts ran their generator all day every day. easy access to Yosemite and Hetch Hetchy

Lovely forested camp ground. The river runs right behind it and was really pretty, quiet, and cold year round.
We loved the quick bike ride to visit evergreen lodge just over the hill.
Did not find the camp host particularly helpful, although they did keep the grounds very nice. They ran their loud generator from afternoon until 930 at night. Felt rude due to so many tent campers.
There is no where to top off RV water or dump your waste water anywhere near the camp, so come prepared.

I stayed at Diamond O for a night before a backpacking trip in Tuolumne. The campsite was clean and quiet and provided easy access for an early morning entry into Yosemite.
