What Guests Are Saying
Dimond O Campground offers a pleasant stay with well-maintained sites, friendly hosts, and clean bathrooms. The camp hosts are on it here and extremely friendly. I was so impressed by the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the campground in general. The river is also extremely nice as a little retreat in the warmer months. Definitely quite beautiful. We will be back!

We had a nice spot #14, and although neighbors were close it was private enough for us. The camp hosts were very nice and the vault toilets were clean and well stocked with TP. If you have large tents you’ll need two sites for sure, but otherwise recommended!

Camping at Dimond O was a deeply positive experience! The site was clean, accessible, and well-maintained. The site is close to the west entrance of Yosemite and a deeply forested campsite with great opportunities for stargazing.

Robert the manager was very helpful to us. The bathrooms were very clean. The camp was very quiet. Carlon Falls is a nice place to hike for the day. It takes about 10 minutes to drive there and about 45 minutes to hike in.

Nice clean lil place with legit metal food boxes to keep safe from bears and pre-set spots set your tent without needing to sweep. Also the managers on site are a sweet couple that help.

Camp host could not have been nicer. Took the time to share information about local attractions and where to shop and eat. Restrooms & overall campground was maintained beautifully. Will definitely be back

Quiet and well maintained park. Camp host, Robert, is very friendly. Evergreen road leading into the park is bumpy, rough, and a little narrow for big rig and tow. But very doable and wouldn’t let it stop me from using again. Mature redwoods throughout the campground, free range cows wonder through, cowbells in the distance at night. Very peaceful. No cell service. Dump and refill water at Yosemite Lakes campground, about two miles down hey 120 from Evergreen rd turnoff.

This campground is fantastic! Sure, you’re about an hour’s drive (with some entry station traffic) to Yosemite’s Tioga wilderness and Valley attractions, but driving three miles down the access road to the campground just adds to how special this place is.
It’s secluded, away from road noise and the river’s flow and swimming hole is a very short stroll away- some sites have the river right behind them. Not to mention that the camp hosts are fabulous. There’s a lot of attention that goes into keeping the grounds well kept and clean.
We also appreciated being only three miles away from Hetch Hetchy, too. It is a part of Yosemite that does not receive many visitor’s and to take in what used to be there (It was John Muir’s favorite valley), is a trip in itself.
Treat yourself and stay at Dimond O, you won’t regret it!
