What Guests Are Saying
Lake Mary Campground offers beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and friendly hosts, making it a great option for outdoor enthusiasts. Many visitors enjoyed activities like canoeing and stargazing, and appreciated the presence of flush toilets and paved trails. However, some sites are cramped and bear activity can be a concern, so visitors are advised to secure food properly and consider the site's layout before booking.

Campground in great location to explore Mammoth Lakes region. Campsite #6 is set on a hill with some limited shade. It is not the most private site as it is set up on a hill and is close to the Lake Mary loop road, but it has good views and is conveniently close to bathrooms (but not too close) and walking distance to the general store where ice and other items can be purchased. Campsite hosts were very nice and had firewood for purchase as well.

Such a cool area with an incredible amount to do. Walking distance to the marina with SUP and kayak and boat rentals. Sites are not private and are dusty but the location is really great, in the heart of the lakes basin. Bring your bikes to enjoy the beautiful bike path. No showers but you can drive down to the general store at twin lakes and shower there

This campground has a fabulous location! We had a beautiful site that backed up to the woods and we even had a bear visit our campsite each night:) Camp hosts were very pleasant and bathrooms were fairly clean and well stocked. All sites are within a short walk to Lake Mary, which is absolutely stunning!

This was my first time camping here. We went after the Labor Day holiday and so the crowds were gone. The facilities and sites were clean and well maintained. The camp hosts were great and personable! I will be adding this campground on my "go to list".

We were in campground 49, which requires a hike up a small hill and cannot be directly accessed by car. For this reason, it is less crowded and the campsites up there (47, 48, and 49, I believe) seem larger and more private than many others. It is off the Lake, but the mountain views to the west are gorgeous. Flush toilets are a plus. Highly recommended!

Nice spot in Mammoth Lakes. Bathrooms were clean. Good views of lake. Campground is on a small loop, so while there is plenty of space between campsites if you happen to have a rowdy group of party campers in your loop you will definitely hear them. But all in all, a good place to camp.

It was our first time camping out in the Mammoth Lakes area and I definitely will be returning next summer. I highly recommend this campground for its excellent location and scenery.
Where else in California could you be kayaking in a pristine lake with snow capped mountains in July and watch bears swim near by?
