Had a great time. Lake was cool and refreshing. Camp site were good. Bathrooms left something to be desired, but hay you're camping.

We came here on a Sunday.
Camp spots are beautiful with electrical outlets, very picturesque locations. Nice and flat spots for pitching your tent and a separate place close by with a fire pit and bench.
There was no campground personnel to check us in. No presence really. Toilets (3 in the camp ground) were filthy. They were clogged and feminine products thrown on the floor.
We had to drive 45 mins back to Sanger for washroom needs.
I want to believe the park is usually clean but we just came on a bad day when it was not maintained well. I may come back again just for the beautiful and serene views of the lake.

My favorite campground and favorite campsite #30. Now it’s under water

We did love it even if was hot and we had to leave a day early. My husband and I decided to take our 15 year old daughter, but it was too hot. We did in joy the lake, but we were on lot 2 and since the water raised up, the water smelled a bit funky. The bathroom didn't work so they had portable bathrooms. It's a shame that I didn't know that we could have gotten a refund, we requested 2 days, but only stayed 1. :(

Lovely outlook but very hot in the summer as there is only limited shade. The toilets and showers were closed and replaced by portable toilets.

If I could give this a lower rating I would. This site should have been closed the day we arrived. No running water and 110 degree feel. Not sure where I was supposed to park as there was a Porta potty in my parking spot. Could be so nice if it was managed differently.

Was an amazing spot to camp at! Brought the boat up and caught some rainbow trout and it was delicious 😋. Definitely will be back in a few months

There's a beehive in the tree at 23. The big oak tree won't allow you to lower your sunshade. The bees never bothered us. Also, steep incline so bring your leveling blocks. Also, some moron shot three pellet gun holes in the men's bathroom. Not too sketchy though, just lock your doors it's dark at night but the stars are very visible, Milky Way and everything.

Our tent didn’t fit where our was suppose to go couldn’t really swim in the lake because of all the boats and jet skis almost hitting us driving fast and crazy where there was swimmers and when it was quite turn at 10 it wasn’t really quite kids running around yelling screaming being disrespectful had my daughter asleep and they woke her up the description said I would be able to back my car into my camp sight but that was a lie I had to walk down hill to my camp sight people would come to the sight and yoke our parking spot we had to wait so they can move there car which took like 4 hours

Some nice sites. Water level had been very low, but was rising. Many sites are not at all level, require substantial number of leveling blocks. Many sites have nice views of the lake.
