The cabins are in a great location close to the lake, camper store, showers, running water and places to dump garbage. I also like how it's a short 2-3 minutes drive to a location that gets cell service. The only issue we had was that the heater in the cabin didn't work. Apparently, the pilot light went out after a recent maintenance. Luckily, I was able to find someone in the camper store at 8 PM and get him to fix it for me.

Overall, this is a great spot! We stayed in Cabin 8 at Manzanita Lake. The website said this cabin could fit up to 3, but it actually only has one full bed, so it's intended to sleep 2 (not 3). I think the website may also show a picture of a cabin with a single and full bed, but this is not Cabin 8. There were also lots of really big ants in the cabin, and the blinds in this cabin did not work (so we had to put sheets over the windows at night). Those were the only major setbacks. Otherwise, the cabins were really close to the lake and spot where you can rent kayaks and canoes, which was nice. It is also nice to be so close to the store (where they sell ice cream and other goodies), and close to the flush toilets (which are by the store). I would stay there again, but in a bigger cabin.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Really loved kayaking on the lake and Paradise Meadows hike. The showers at this campsite are cold but they work. Definitely a good option for anyone who wants the camping experience without the hassle of pitching a tent.
