Had a great stay. About a minute walk down to the lake. Propane heat kept me toasty warm at night. There wasn’t a lantern as stated, but most people travel with one anyways. Vault toilets nothing special; bearable. Nice having the camp shop so close for coffee in the morning. Bear box and picnic table provided. Bed was decent enough (added a bit extra padding for my comfort level). Nice table and chairs both inside and out. Not all the blinds were totally functional but not a big issue. Lots of kiddos running around- a nice area for families but not super secluded if that’s what you’re after. Overall a nice little solo retreat. Manzanita lake is beautiful and Lassen is always a treat to visit.

The campground was extremely clean and ideally located within the park. Our cabin was also very clean upon check-in and the heater worked very well (almost too well!) I highly recommend the cabins and will definitely be coming back as soon as I can.
