What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

VerifiedMarch 15, 2026 • Stayed at: Site: 38, Loop: Azalea
Great access to Kings Canyon sights.
Site 38 has no level area unless you’re at the bottom of a gully between a few trees. I would not recommend this campsite
