Lodgepole Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting with excellent facilities, including a market, showers, and organized ranger programs. As expected for a busy NP campground. Site was good. Bathrooms were filthy. Saw a guy go in to “clean” and only refilled soap & TP. Globs of hair and TP all over the floor. They can do better for what you pay per night. Disappointed.

The site itself was gorgeous. Stayed at site 41. The website says the site is good for a 6x6 tent, but honestly I was able to fit a 8x8 tent no problem.
The bathrooms and showers are atrocious, you’re better off not showering.
Wish people followed the rules more. Was unable to sleep all night because the campers next to us decided to talk all night long.
The market is great and they have firewood, ice, beer, and wine.

This is in a great location for the giant forest but is very busy due to this. Our site was very close to neighbors with no privacy. The fire that our neighbors built was too big and smoked our tent out. Lots of big groups of kids making lots of noise. If you want quiet, go elsewhere. The shower block is only open from 8am to 7pm.

The camp ground was quiet considering that it was full and "off season". I guess there is no off season anymore I am told. Our campsite was not the greatest 139. I would not recommend it. By the garbage and no trees to hang a line and too exposed for our comfort. I appreciated that there were not bears walking through the camp during cooking and that other campers were good with bear safety. Not like Lake Tahoe.
The hikes are awesome in the park and easy to find ones that are not too crowded. I appreciated being able to take a shower but the bathrooms need to be cleaned more often. I realize that $ is an issue and not enough staff in most of the parks. However, it is used so much it needs more attention.

Our location was close to the restroom and visitors center. It was located at the beginning of a valley.

I love this campsite. It is HUUUGE. Lots of trails nearby, an ampitheatre, a store and hot showers. It is close to other greater hikes in the park, and you are able to collect wood from the surrounding areas (still check before you visit and decide to collect). The Sequioa NP itself is absolutely stunning. Lodgepole is the way to go.

Overall an excellent experience. My only negative comment is that the bathrooms weren't cleaned daily; at least it looked like they weren't cleaned daily

Dangerous Rivers! Many drowning victims were playing near rivers. Rivers present a far greater danger than lakes or pools. Surfaces may look calm, but strong currents often run below. Be cautious walking near rivers as rocks can be slippery. Getting out of a cold, swift river is often impossible.
