Hodgdon Meadow Campground is a clean, well-maintained facility with friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an excellent base for exploring Yosemite. Many campers appreciated the beautiful natural surroundings and the cleanliness of the restrooms. However, some sites are sloped and close together, which might impact comfort and privacy for certain visitors. Great site, easy to find, very clean and secure. Lots of deadfall for fires with nice fire pits with movable grill tops provided. Each site has easy to use bear box, fire pit and large picnic table. We had plenty of room for a 6 and 3 person tent. Plenty of bear safe trash areas and hard stand bathrooms with potable water access. Several trails you can walk to from your campsite as well.

Excellent location. Tent site sloped a bit but nothing horrible. Carlon Falls and Hetch Hetchy are both very close by and were beautiful.
The campground bathrooms do not have soap dispensers so bring your own any time you need to use the facilities.

Sorry to rate this as poor. There should be a "N/A" option. Issue was that the campground was inaccessable. Barricades on the road near Crane Flat and missinformation on how / or if there was a way to get there. We backtracked and stayed in valley and had a great time with amazing waterfalls and rivers although it was a deal more expensive than the campsite rate.

It was a nice camp ground overall. There were sites that were sitting on a slanted slope which made it difficult. There are no showers so we had to drive to another campsite to shower. There are bears so make sure to keep all food, toiletries and scented items in the bear locker.

Lovely campground in the middle of the forest. Huge bearbox for each spot, good advices of the rangers - and just an overall great experience.

Nice and quiet campground. Hike in sites were not bad as well.
We heard people making noise in the night, maybe bear came and visited us. But overall, good campsite and adequate parking, and toilet facilities. I don't think so they have showers though.
Yosemite entry gate is about 40 minutes away so that's not bad as well.

Would like at least a hand soap dispenser in restroom. Helpful if campground map had noted trail head(s) arising from or adjacent to campground. Kiosk often unmanned to ask human.
