campsite was quiet and peaceful. The river nearby was really nice. Getting around was pretty easy by foot.

Site 500 in North Pines...only good with an RV. We were there the last week of October. This side of the campground and this location were very quiet at night. Since this site is near the river and not many other sites, we had a mama deer and her 2 fawns hang out all day. Also had a coyote and fox come through the site. And an owl hung out in the evening for a few hours.

My worst experience ever . It was so busy that it felt like downtown LA with their tent . The park should control how many people should or could stay there over night . It wasn’t anything relaxing so I ended up canceling my 10 days of booking from October 29th to November 10th and I drove 7 hours to get there to get my biggest disappointment

The campsite was very clean and spacious. Overall, it was nice and peaceful. Convenient to the restrooms. They've put in a lot of fencing around meadows and eliminated parking by building curbs and filling the roadsides with sand and boulders. I can understand the area restoration but sometimes it is fun just to sit in the meadows and enjoy being there. I guess they want to encourage walking and taking the shuttles. They were doing some serious controlled burns while I was there.
