Such a beautiful place! Most of the sites have plenty of shade but are also quite spacious. We camped right on the river and while our neighbors were kind of close, it really didn't feel like it because of all of the trees. Would highly recommend and plan to return!

We stayed in sites 40 and 34 in the North campground over Memorial Day weekend 2021. It was an incredible experience. First, the camp hosts, Rob and Karen, were so friendly and accommodating. They keep the campground perfectly clean, especially the pit toilets. They were the cleanest we’ve ever experienced. They take great pride in their work! They try to make the campers experience as they would live for themselves. The CG is scenic, reservoir is a great place to kayak. We also hiked up to Chapman lake. It is a 7.5 mile hike from the CG trailhead which is on the south side. We would highly recommend the hike (steep but doable).

Great location close to the creek and the lake. Sites are spacious and relatively private. Bathrooms are clean.

Great view, great facilities, very clean area. The camp hosts were very nice and accommodating. Fishing was fun, though the fish are small. Only complaint is that the designated camping areas are a little too close together and some sites cannot be accessed without walking through another site.
