I love going to 30-mile CG. I did, however, would have liked having a CG host on site, but the host from River Hill CG was very nice and kept clean bathrooms. I’ll definitely return if possible.

So there is a new company doing things now. No onsite host. People from dropsite campsites were buzzing in to drop trash and use the bathroom every morning. I have been coming here for 66 years. They increased the prices to insane levels. The timing for making reservations was incorrect. I happened to look early and got a reservation. This is a campsite with no electricity or water onsite, why do you think you need to charge rates like you are a 5 star hotel in Napa? Most people book by the week. Why the different rates for weekends or holidays? Then you feel the need to gouge us by charging $10 per vehicle? The vehicle charge was more than the site charge! You charge us for cars even though there is a site for backpackers and hikers where we could park but you charge us to park there too. They said they need the parking for the backpackers and hikers but if we pay $10, it's OK to park there? Then you charge $2.00 more for firewood with smaller bundles. People did get upset and left. You folks are ruining 30 mile campground. Does the U S Forest service know what you are pulling?

The campground is located in one of my most favorite places in the world. The individual sites are large and easy to get into and located on the backs of the Rio Grande. The site were well maintained and the camp host-who was pulling double duty for 30 Mile and River Road, kept the rest rooms clean as well as the other common areas.

Solid campground. No cell service so check all of your messages and make calls down in Creede.

This was our sect trip here and I was so impressed with how clean all the campsites and bathrooms were. The camp host has really went above and beyond. She really is a go getter, not only was she taking care of 2 campgrounds but she was also so pleasant to deal with and talk to.
If I could give a 10+ I would.

This is a terrible campground. Look elsewhere... Ok just kidding. It is a nice spot. We visited in early June before there was a camp host at our campground. This left us slightly confused and without some of the resources we expected from this site. Firewood and Ice mainly. They also had the water turned off while we were there. You would think this would warrant a refund from CPW but no consideration in regard to that at all... I am paying for a site based on the amenities offered. They did not make true to their promise in that regard.
