Not much there - the lake is low _ so no water access, but plenty of mosquitos at night. the campground is nothing to write home about, just boring - never saw any evidence of a camp host. Drive an other 20 min and stay in a “nice place”

This location is beautiful! However- it gets very windy and hot!! The afternoon wind took out and destroyed our canopy which made for a miserably hot stay, as there are no trees for shade. As an experienced camper- this place seems ideal for someone passing through with an RV or camper to rest for a night. I couldn’t imagine staying longer than a night or two. We left a day early due to the lack of shade and the overbearing heat.

No creek, no notice boat ramp is closed and no access to water for boat or kayak as the water table is extremely lacking. Barren, no shade; basically a parking lot with numbers for spots. Very misleading name and additional oncoming 65 mph wind storm storm made it unsafe to utilize even for an hour. This was to date the worse quality location I’ve visited if u r someone who enjoys camping. Terrible construction delays coming from the west allows limited vehicle access 8-9am, 12-1pm and 5-6pm. A huge waste of time that I understand will continue for 2 more years.

no shade. Lots of bugs, road noise. If you are looking for a place to stop for the night this is the place for you.

General
- Stevens Creek Campground has no electric hookups.
- Upon arrival to the boat ramp and before launching, all watercraft will be inspected and certified Zebra and Quagga Mussel free. Inspection stations are located at the Elk Creek and Lake Fork boat ramps during peak seasons (May through October). The boat ramp and inspection station at Stevens Creek are closed at this time. - Quiet Hours are.
- Cell phone coverage is limited.
- The fish cleaning station is open during peak seasons.
- STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES . Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. Stay on designated roads and trails, and follow local guidelines for firewood . CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that contacts water. Dispose of unwanted bait, worms, fish parts, or other organisms into the trash and not into the environment. For more information visit the National Invasive Species Information Center .
