The campground itself is gorgeous. Our campsite, was, a little rough. We were in site 21, which is literally against a chain link fence to private property, and that made it tough to enjoy the 'great outdoors' while staring at the divide between public and private land. Other than the eyesore, the river was great. I wouldn't necessarily recommend June as a good time b/c the river is still rushing pretty good. A few nice hikes close by as well. The rock formations are wonderful to look at during dawn/dusk.

What a great place! The creek was super fun & relaxing, and the hike to lizard rock from camp was a blast. Bathrooms were very clean too. Bring your tubes for tubing down the creek & even chairs or a blanket to lounge creek side with a book. Loved watching the kiddos run around having a blast too :)
