The site didn’t have water which we knew in advance but the amount of drive through traffic was really surprising. Non-stop cars/trucks seemed to drive in to the end and then loop back out without ever setting up at a camp site. Far less relaxing than other places we’ve camped. We loved the lake but I would explore other options if we planned to return.

Great location with nice campsites. Need to fix the water issue! A dump would be nice. Time to upgrade the bathroom. Good fishing, but crowded. Great hiking and biking. Overall a wonderful place to camp.

We enjoyed our campsite. The fishing is great. Unfortunately the days we were there it was very rainy (6/24-6/25). The area is beautiful and the bathrooms are kept very clean. We loved that there is a trash can available on site. There is no cell phone service at these sites (T-mobile).
The only inconvenience we experienced was that we had to move from our campsite. We had only reserved for 1night, Thursday. Because we were told, by a Ranger(we called to verify), that the camp sites were first come first serve on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We paid to spend Friday night, since we were already at the site we figured we were first. Later in the day the campsite ranger asked us to move because someone else had reserved our spot. When we asked how if the spots are first come first serve? (Since we had called and verified with a ranger.) The campsite ranger explained to us that some areas are first come first serve and others are by reservation only. He also mentioned that due to new staffing this has happened frequently. Even though it was an inconvenience to have to move, the ranger was very helpful in finding us another site close by.
