What Guests Are Saying
Molly Brown Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful views, spacious and well-maintained sites, and easy access to Turquoise Lake, making it a favorite for many campers. The hosts are attentive, keeping the facilities clean and providing helpful recommendations for local activities. However, the lack of potable water and occasional issues with restroom cleanliness have been noted by some visitors, but overall, the campground is highly recommended for its serene environment and outdoor opportunities.

You can’t beat the views at this place! The hosts are so nice, and so helpful. There is a beautiful trail that runs along a big portion of the lake, and you can also drive around the entire lake, stopping at scenic lookouts or different hiking trails. It was too windy to paddle board while we were there, but that seems like it would be fun!

Nice quiet spot. Bigger rigs will have a tough time getting in the first loop. Water apparently just got turned back on so that’s nice.

Great campground near Turquoise Lake and Leadville. Beautiful scenery. Pristine vault toilets. The lakefront sites are spacious and spread out (hard to reserve!). Weather had cold rain during our trip in late June but still really enjoyed it. Going back in 2022!

Ranger or camp ground host was very accommodating letting us know about the race taking place that weekend.

Beautiful location, we love flatwater kayaking on the lake. Camp hosts were helpful and friendly. Campsite was very clean and restrooms well maintained.

We tried several new places this year and this by far was the best experience we had. Be sure to reserve a lakefront site. Ours was site 14. Plenty of views and privacy. Our camp host was one of the best. Attentive, friendly, and they were on top of their game. As we drove around looking at all of the sites, they are spread out better than most campgrounds. Turquoise Lake did not disappoint either. Lots of bike trails and beach areas for activities or relaxing and connecting with nature in beautiful Colorado. We will be back!

Beautiful campground with a lot of options for hiking, beach time and close to town's amenities. Hosts are friendly and keep a safe and clean campground for their guests.
