Quiet and lovely campground. The camp sites are spaced far apart to give some privacy. We lucked out and camped right next to little running creek, although our site was fairly close to the bathrooms and we could catch a whiff now and then. Still it was a nice campground and we would recommend it.

I knew from previous reviews this would be a walk-in site and was looking forward to being off the road. I didn’t know that accessing the site would require walking through a creek. The only way to avoid it was to walk along the side of a hill and then through another campsite, which was a longer, difficult, and awkward path. It looks like there was a path built up over the water at one point, but it hasn’t been maintained, so the creek is actually 4-5 feet wide where the walking path is supposed to cross to this site.
The bathrooms smelled atrocious as well and the level of feces was very high in the toilet. It is such a beautiful location that I was really disappointed in the lack of care. I reserved two nights, but left the first morning because it was so unpleasant.

Great campsite. Close to car, bathrooms, and trash without being TOO close to smell anything. Met some cool hikers at the campsite next to us.

We stayed in the Sage loop in space 11. Very spacious spot and conveniently located near potable water source and vault toilets. Campground was very clean and hosts were very friendly and attentive. The campground itself is fairly large with many spaces, but we still enjoyed our privacy as the spots were generously spaced. We will definitely return next year!

Great campsite! We stayed on Sage loop. It was busy, but quiet. Bathrooms were very clean. We stayed at number 26 and love the location.
Super close to Leadville

Our campsite was great - we had a view of Twin Lakes. Just down the hill, you could rent paddle boards. If you brought your own, there was a close by place to get in the water. The vault toilet was probably the cleanest one I've ever seen.
