The campground host went above and beyond to ensure that our family could camp next to each other. We had 4 generations camping Memorial weekend - from ages 2-86. White Star is our favorite campground and that weekend was no exception! Thank you!

This is a beautiful campground. The host was incredibly helpful and all of the new improvements, make the site really relaxing. The water is still not working but it’s a very short drive to town to grab some. The lake is gorgeous and really fun to boat on.

White Star is my go-to campground. The sites are well maintained, with tent pads which is really helpful and also far enough apart from each other that one does not feel on top of one's neighbors. There are a lot of trees too so typically each site has a share of sun as well as shade. The lakes are absolutely beautiful, whether you are fishing or just reading by the shore. I have never had a bad experience at White Star and will be going back neat year!!

Beautiful views, great location for hikes, plenty of privacy from other campers, very clean toilets and fresh running water. Would definitely stay here again and for more nights due to the options of things to do: gold mining, rafting, hiking 14,000ft peaks, and the nice little town of Twin Lakes or slightly further away Leadville. Awesome location and campground.

A wonderful campground with excellent hosts. The campsite was clean, the bathrooms were very clean and clearly regularly maintained, the views were 10/10. We're already looking forward to next year!

Location is amazing because it the twin lakes are beautiful.
The generators running messed up the peace and quiet of the outdoors.
We were in the middle of the campground which was fine but the edge sites looked amazing.
Very clean and well cared for campground.
