The host should give you a parking pass to use at the lake. Restrooms are immaculate.

Beautiful campground. Spacious and quiet. Clean bathrooms. Only issue was the grading of our site. It poured and hailed before we set up our tents and our spot was totally flooded. Some other sites around us also got flooded. The water seeped down eventually.

I know it was beyond control but the mosquitoes were really bad. Never has happened in all the years we have been coming there. Also learned after all these years about the orange tag to be able to park at the lake.
The main hosts are great people and have always been so nice. Wish there was a way to reserve the same space for the same week in July every year. Thank you.

White Star is a beautiful campground. We were in site #7 which offers a lake view at the top of the ridge. It is a large site with plenty of space to spread out. Water is very close to this site. Bathrooms are vault toilets , close to the site and clean. The camp host does a great job. The mosquitoes were a bit much this year but normally that is not a problem at this elevation. Hopefully it was just this summer. Bring bug spray just in case. The town of Twin Lakes is very close . There are a few stores in town...the general store is our favorite. They have a little of everything. The museum is small but interesting. The twin lakes are beautiful and fun to kayak. Over all a great experience.
