We loved the quiet beauty of this place. There are easily and beautiful trails around. David, the Camp Host, was so helpful and took great care of the campground. The pit toilets were super clean.

I hope this gets to the campground host.
The campground in all was very nice. I did not see on the website that our site#65 was a walk in. We probably would have chosen another site for this particular trip since I am recovering from back surgery.
The problem we encountered the last evening we were there as we found human feces with toilet paper on top the ground about 20ft west of the tent site, as we were taking a walk. It appears that the campground host did not review the site prior to our arrival. People can be absolute pigs, there is a great clean bathroom right there on the road. We put a rock on both piles of human feces to prevent the toilet paper from blowing into our tent area. People like that should be charged $100 for a sanitation cleaning fee.
We otherwise had a wonderful visit and plan to come back in September.

I would normally rate as excellent but hope this gets seen. We had heavy rain, which happens. But our site completely flooded out! We had about 3" of rain pooling in front of our camper. My husband tried to dig some drainage canals which helped a bit. I think it just needs to be leveled & hope this gets to the right people. We could not get into our fridge or stove which are outside. But we do love the campground, always beautiful with clean facilities!
