What Guests Are Saying
Gore Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful setting near the creek, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere with well-maintained facilities, including exceptionally clean bathrooms. Many guests appreciate the convenient access to Vail and nearby hiking and biking trails. However, some reviewers noted issues with noise from I-70 and the lack of water and campfires, alongside occasional challenges with campground management and site reservations. Overall, it remains a popular choice for campers seeking a serene experience close to outdoor activities.

Clean, beautiful campground with several sites big enough fir our 32 ft Class A with slides. There was highway noise from I-70, but it was mitigated by the loudness of the creek running just by the western campsites. The walk-in tent sites looked awesome from what we could see. They were off beyond the flowers, trees and grasses, but looked private and pretty.

We love coming to this campsite. All of the sites are huge. We had 4 adults and 4 kids on ours with two large vehicles and still had tons of room to play. It gets cold at night so pack your extra layers!

The walk-in sites are listed as being able to accommodate 10 people, however they only have space for 1 tent.
