What Guests Are Saying
Gore Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful setting near the creek, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere with well-maintained facilities, including exceptionally clean bathrooms. Many guests appreciate the convenient access to Vail and nearby hiking and biking trails. However, some reviewers noted issues with noise from I-70 and the lack of water and campfires, alongside occasional challenges with campground management and site reservations. Overall, it remains a popular choice for campers seeking a serene experience close to outdoor activities.

We had a great time while we were here. Unfortunately we didn't get to stay overnight. My dog is blind and it was a bit worrisome navigating the area with her so we opted to head out. We did spend a lot of the day and enjoyed our time immensely but needed to keep our dog safe.

Arva & Doug are the two kindest people I've ever met! Emt from Boulder retired came up 1 month early by accident on my part but Arva saved the day and got me a night to stay. Came back on the right dates and Doug is funny!! Great people!

Very close to Vail but feels remote. Wooded and close to a stream.

Camp in site 1 which was noisy from the highway traffic which I expected. The area for the tent has a definite slope to it and needs to be fixed when funds are available. Camp host was very pleasant and and latrines were topnotch.
