What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

The worst camping experience I’ve had in 20 years. It’s like camping in a city. Very busy, loud, small campsites and not relaxing at all. Avoid at all costs. Not at all accurate description of sites. Go somewhere else and save yourself a huge headache.

We had a great visit to this campground, and we saw more wildlife than we expected (bear, moose, deer, fox, and much more). It was a great location to kayak or canoe to the little islands in the lake.

We were able to change campsites to be closer to the water. But the camp host could not just switch sites. We had to pay for. Third night. But it’s such a pretty campground and the water is nice. So we didn’t mind.
