What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

This is a great campground. The scenery is beautiful, the restroom facility was clean, and I appreciated that each campsite had a bear box to store food overnight. I would definitely camp here again.

The camp host were super nice. The bathroom vaults were very clean and had a fresh scent. The flushing toilets were clean as well. No trash or broken glass at camp sites. Good fishing, nice hikes around the camp. Will come again, next time not when it's raining so much!

This was unfortunately a poor experience for us. The site was nice and clean. We had multiple people cross through the site. And were highly unaware of how loud they were late at night and in the morning. I’m usually tolerant but didn’t enjoy being woken up by a cackling woman at 6am or someone trying to fly their drone at 9:30pm
This seems to be a place for newbie campers
It definitely serves its purpose for families
A very nice spot overall. Close to hikes, the lake and river

1st time camping at this campground. One of the two bathrooms was not open maybe due to early season. Had to use Stillwater dump station. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. We are going back in a couple weeks to enjoy the lake with our jet skis.

We had no advance notice that the running water was shut off. This severely affected our tent camping trip as we had no place to wash our hands, clean our boots etc. after a hike, and we had to provide our own drinking water and cooking water. Other than that we enjoyed the scenery and the campground.
