What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

The trees are growing back and our site was secluded and peaceful.

Great campsite near the Colorado River and Rocky Mtn Ntl Park. Camp Host was very nice and helpful. Campground very clean (plus the toliets) and quiet. Adjacent to the lake, so next time we will bring our boat and kayak.

We had a very nice time at Green Ridge. I knocked off one star because of the mosquitoes although those are not the fault of the campsite obviously. We plan to come back and stay again but more likely when it's cooler to avoid the bugs.

The site was very good, the area around there was very nice. We did some hiking, some mountain bike riding and just hanging out. The only issue was there were a fair amount of mosquitoes, especially at dusk. The other 3 couples we camped with, who had camped there many times in the past, said the bugs were a bit worse than normal. That's the only reason I dropped one star on the review.

We had a beautiful site. The campground was clean and well kept by two very friendly camp hosts, Jeff and Diana. We had the best time!

Clean bathrooms. No enforced generator and quiet hours which made for a lower quality experience.

We were having vehicle issues and were a couple days late and they gave away our spot. Worst camp hosts. I will never book there again
