What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

We arrived late at the site. We were able to set up camp, make dinner, and just sit and relax. The site was wooded and had plenty of privacy. I had one of the best sleep here. Just an overnight stop but definitely enjoyable. Nice environment!

Beautiful location; loop A by the lake is very busy/crowded. When we went, we had lots of privacy and quiet in the back of loop B with deer wandering around in the background.

Camp hosts are great. People were courteous and campground quiet time was observed. The weather was perfect as was the site we booked.

Nice spot! Easy access to Shadow Mountain Reservoir and trails. Mosquitoes were pretty bad in our site but that's to be expected as there were some standing water in pools in the area. Camp hosts were very nice and the restrooms were clean. My only complaint was there were several reserved sites that were unoccupied.

Dump station has been out of service for quite some time now. Otherwise, another pleasant stay on one of the busiest weekends of the summer. Restrooms are always clean, overall campground condition is kept up nicely.
