What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

Clean and quiet. Even with the campground being nearly to capacity

Visibly occupy your site early so people don’t take it, caused quite the surprise to return to a taken campsite, with the hosts offering another site instead of correcting the issue… would have preferred the site I reserved

The campground is nice. I gave a 3-star review because the campsite next to us was playing loud music during quiet hours. There was also a campsite near us that ran their generator ALL NIGHT. I wish the camp host would listen and address the noisy campsites. However, I doubt that the host hears the noise in their large motor home!

Very close to an inlet to Shadow Mountain Lake but also really close to the County Road. Very noisy and a little nerve racking. Tent pad is literally 30 feet from the road. Also there are two sites between parking and the site that you have to walk through with your gear. Bad site but proximity to the water made it OK.

I haven’t done match camping in my life but this place was beautiful! So close to the lake and just a fun vibe at the campground. Some of the reviews said there were lots of bugs but we didn’t have that problem. Only complaint was that our picnic table bench was broken so we couldn’t sit on one side of it.

This place is a hot mess. Our site (31) is literally right on the side of the road. We had to parallel park a 40' coach and barely could put the slides out. We were so close to the road, we had to put out safety cones to make sure no one hit us.

This is a great campground - clean bathrooms , excellent views of the surrounding mountains & wildlife . Plenty of activities available if you want to do them - hiking in the Nat park , kayaking , fishing . Close to visit Grand Lake or Grandby .
