What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

Clean, spaced campsites. Rest rooms were clean but aging. Camp host was super friendly and attentive. Nice views of the river

Maikelyn is amazing (the ranger on the camp) she was so helpful, kind, and amazing resource when I was planing my hikes. The restrooms are very clean and the positive messages inside the place which is an amazing idea to spread love between visitors. Take your sunblock and be ready to spend a nice time.

Spectacular site at a lovely, clean, and quiet campground with walkable/hikeable access to RMNP and Grand Lake. Friendly and helpful camp host as well. Would definitely return and specifically to site 14, which is spacious and has only one neighboring site.

Peaceful place to spend the night. I wish we'd been able to stay more than as a stopover and explore. The camp sites are kind of close to each other, but there's zero light pollution and you can really see the stars!

I was in one of the tent sites (#20) and had a great weekend! Nice and overall quiet campground. Restrooms were beyond clean and the camp host was so friendly.

The camp ground was all we expected and we were very happy to stay there. The host was friendly and helpful, the toilet facilities were warm on a cool night, very clean and even smelled good! The one improvement - warm water, please! :) The camping site was great. The firepit was too large and needed a lot of firewood and too deep to use for cooking our foil packets, but otherwise, very nice. All said, a great experience and well worth the fee. The area was great, right on the lake, and convenient to run into town for a couple last minute grocery items. We will certainly stay again.

Site 42, loop B was very small and had lots of traffic. We tried to set up our tent, but there wasn't enough room. The fire ring and picnic table were on the same pad as the tent pad. Following a nearby site, we tried our tent in the driveway, but it was too rocky and we couldn't fit our 2 cars. We ultimately switched to a first-come site after sleeping in our car for the first night. This site could be fine for an RV, car camper, or maybe even a small 2 person tent - if you're ok being very close to the fire or camping in the driveway. This space definitely did not accommodate our small group of 3 people, despite it saying it can fit 8 people and 2 cars.
