What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

The guy that works for vista I believe, he takes care of the water. (He has a motorcycle, motorhome, cargo trailer and screen room. His campsite was # 8. He was acting very creepy around the female camp host and around several females that were camping near him. Discusting man.

We didn’t stay at the campsite because you had to walk through two campsites that were VERY close to ours to get to it. It also backs onto the road, so you don’t even get away from people on the back side. Pretty spot, but they should remove at least 2 campsites to make them useable.

I didn't have any tree cover (B loop, 064), but other than that, the location was very good with easy access to the toilettes and also a great view to the sagebrush prairie, as well as a short walk to the dam. I didn't see in the description of the campground, but a water faucet is available outside the toilets and the water is good.

Very nice campground! The scenery was beautiful and next door to the lake. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean and smelt great! It was very peaceful. The only negative thing was there was only one water faucet for our section for the whole loop available next to camp host. The camp host was super sweet, social, and helpful. It's within reasonable distance from downtown Grand Lake and Estes Park. Definitely recommend this campground!

The weekend we stayed was full on party until the early morning. There was no presence of host or anyone for that matter to ask people to be quiet.
If you are in a tent only site, be prepared for a hike to the nearest vault toilet.

This was a great campground! It was well maintained and quiet. Seemed like a mix of tents and RVs but no generators and the camp noise was pretty low. There is an easy four mile hike to Grand Lake from the campground which was nice instead of driving over. Also has lots of small trails and boulders for the kids to explore.
