What Guests Are Saying
Green Ridge campground offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, with clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and great access to Shadow Mountain Lake and nearby trails. While some sites are close together, leading to a lack of privacy, and issues with tree trimming and parking have been noted, the overall experience remains positive. Campers appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms, though some flush toilets were out of service during certain stays, and many guests express a desire to return for the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities.

Campground Manager was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were very clean. Campsites a little close together. Very close to entrance of Rocky Mountains National Park. Large bear locker on every site. I didn't notice from photos, there is no view of lake from campground, you have to climb a short hill.

Stayed in #61, nice spot, no shade, semi private, great view and close to water. We have a 27 foot trailer and while the spot is great we will not stay in the site again, it is very hard to get in, very tight turn big trees and rocks make the turn very tight. I recommend only a smaller trailer. The campground is very nice, clean, pretty quiet. The host is great, friendly and we love the area, fishing and lots of hiking trails around area. We come at least once a year and will continue.

Our experience was awesome, Jeff and his made us feel at home and made our stay very welcomed.
When my family and I arrived we had reserved slot #46 in loop A.,for one night and wanted to stay for 3, Jeff found us, slot #12 and transferred our reservation from slot #46 to slot #12 so we only had to pay for the extra 2 days. Our spot was amazing, close to the lake and only a walking distance to the river for which we caught several trout and enjoyed the park.
We highly recommend Loop A for a down home family experience… we plan to return too loop A soon and stop in and say hey too the best camp managers in Green Ridge.
You two were amazing…
Sincerely; the Luckey’s from slot #12 from Northglenn colo.

The camp host was amazing. A great person and very helpful and pleasant to meet. The worst part of the camping was the other campers. One ran his generator all day and wasn’t even in the motorhome. Just rude to other campers

An amazing spot. I wasn't sure what to expect, but when we rolled in, it was pure Rocky Mountain beauty next to Shadow Mountain Lake and the Colorado River. The campsite was big enough for our 24' RV and had a picnic area. All the sights were spread out to offer some privacy and the sites are all in top condition. We will be back!
