Loved this nice clean campground. We took our dog out for a nice walk and found some beautiful views. Stayed one night during the week with a small trailer.

Outstanding campground. Best I have ever stayed in in Colorado. Close to outstanding hikes at Moffat Tunnel and Hessie trailhead. Host is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Wonderful family campground with a close proximity to Denver. Also within a stones throw to the neat town of Nederland.

My camp site was nowhere close to level making camper setup challenging. I saw several campers that needed to level 6-8 inches side-to-side and front-to-back. Most of the sites are fairly exposed to sun making it less pleasant to me than more treed campgrounds. The trash in the vault toilet was not cleaned out everyday. There is almost no hiking from this campground so be prepared to drive somewhere else. On the plus side, the short trail off the south side of the campground offered a peek into some mine shafts (grated for safety). Hiking is relatively close if you head to the Middle St. Vrain Trail near Pleasant Valley and Camp Dick.
